The goal of this project is to develop an intelligent search engine for exploring Web pages and databases according to a specific topic or domain. Pages are collected from differents URL and the content is filtered according to the context. New hosts corresponding to the particular topic are then extracted from these first pages. One of first applications of the spider is the collection of wine bottles on the web. Results are shown at Smartwine (only for Switzerland and France).
